The focus remains on targeting the young population since the youth are more inclined towards social networking, music and entertainment. In the world of business, there are many external factors that contribute towards the successful performance of a company. Government intervention in the form of laws and regulations has a strong impact on the operations and management of Apple Inc. For instance, the laws and policies set up by the UK government act as limitations and constraints in the manner in which companies market their products. There is Sales of Goods Act 1979 which states that products that will be sold in the market should be according to the specifications mentioned in promotional advertisements. For instance, Apple Inc. deals with electronic products like iPhone, iPad, smartphones, tablets, personal computers and so on. To gain market share over its competitors, Apple cannot exaggerate or promote features that do not exist in its products.
